Youth Ministry Update 2010…
The Youth have been very busy under the direction of Deacon
Larry Coleman for the past year. They have been responsible for the music on 2nd
Sunday mornings during the morning worship service rendering songs of praise
through the New Generation Choir both locally and regionally.
Last year’s outreach effort included collecting clothes
and blankets for a local family shelter. This year’s outreach involved serving
Thanksgiving dinner for the elderly at the Beverly Healthcare Center. The Youth
have also enjoyed several fellowship outings, such as Tribulation Trail,
lunches, and traveling to regional services. The youth have also been active in
raising funds via their local church by utilizing the vending machine and
providing snacks after service.
