SINGLE’S SEMINAR HELD…

 On Friday night, February 18, 2011 the Single’s ministry held a seminar and dinner at the church.  Pastor Deas was the seminar conductor.  The seminar encompassed a lot of topics and bullet points such as: (a) Statistical facts about singlehood; (b) Exploring the myths of singleness; (c)Wholeness in singleness; (d) the Value of sexual purity; (e) Immorality’s Dangers; (f) What does the bible say about choosing a mate? (g) a checklist entitled “Assess your own level of self esteem.” The participants were able to open up on their thoughts and ideas regarding the various topics, but they were always guided back to the biblical application of the topics and how to apply it to everyday circumstances.  Everyone gleaned very much from the seminar and had a wonderful time of sharing and fellowship.  The dinner was also enjoyed by everyone, with much thanks to Sis. LaTonya Marsh.  The group looks forward to other seminars and times of fellowship
